A supremely entertaining and highly topical satire, full of black humour, picturesque characters and dizzying twists, it follows the adventures of a family man who devises a peculiar way to deal with unemployment. Korean virtuoso Park Chan-wook (The Old Man, The Maid, Double Deception) has been working on the film for twenty years.

Man-su, a papermaking expert with twenty-five years of experience, can honestly say to himself, "My life is perfect." He lives in a beautiful house, has a devoted wife, two beautiful children, and a pair of cute golden retrievers. But one fine day, the company informs him that he has been fired: "Sorry, we have no other choice." Desperate, Man-su promises himself that he will find a new job within the next three months – but the competition is fierce and Man-su soon realizes that he has no choice but to take some rather radical measures himself...
